World Central Kitchen's Ukraine Response: 300 Million Meals and Counting (Aug. 2026)

Since February 2022, World Central Kitchen (WCK) has served more than 300 million meals in Ukraine, a milestone that reflects years of sustained support from our WCK community, and one that continues to grow every single day.

Even as Russian strikes continue to hit communities across Ukraine, WCK's teams have never stopped cooking, sourcing, and delivering. We buy locally, cook locally, and get food to families within days of an attack. Whether that's an emergency meal delivered hours after a strike or a Community Kitchen rebuilt inside a shelter so displaced families can cook for themselves again, WCK is there.

As winter approaches, fresh food becomes scarce and harder to afford for families already impacted by years of conflict. Your donation helps WCK prepare for the months ahead, keeping families fed and children nourished through the hardest season of the year.

Here's what your donation can provide:

$5 — One emergency response meal. A ready-to-eat sandwich packed with water, delivered fast to people who can't cook for themselves, often in the first hours after a strike.

$25 — One Children's Kit. Nourishing, ready-to-eat foods tailored for kids and infants, delivering essential nutrition, care, and comfort to families in frontline communities.

$50 — One portable stove kit. Includes a portable gas stove, 20 gas canisters, and a fire extinguisher, helping families cook when electricity or gas is unavailable.

$100 — One immediate-use survival kit. 50 ready-to-eat meals for people living under constant shelling who are unable to cook for themselves, one of WCK's most critical frontline tools.

$500 — Food preservation equipment and supplies. Helping Community Kitchens and shelters transform seasonal harvests into nutritious meals that last long after the growing season ends.

$1,000 — Renovate and equip a Community Kitchen. Built inside a shelter housing displaced families, these spaces give people the room and equipment to cook their own food and create a little taste of home.
